Lumis 150 VPAP ST-A, 4G Modem

$4,799.00 $8,500.00

Lumis 150 VPAP ST-A is a non-invasive ventilator with alarms. It is designed for non-dependent patients with respiratory insufficiency.

The ventilator features IntelligentAir, a collection of ResMed technologies that can tailor therapy to the patient’s individual breathing needs. IntelligentAir comprises iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support), a mode that automatically adapts to the patient’s changing needs, an intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) that maximises their opportunity to breathe spontaneously, and an optional AutoEPAP to maintain upper airway patency.

The ventilator is easy to set up and use, and features built-in wireless connectivity to AirView™ – ResMed’s cloud-based patient management system – for remote monitoring.

This product is an electrically powered device using bi-level positive airway pressure to treat patients requiring non-invasive ventilation. The device may be used in the home or hospital. ResMed humidifiers are indicated for the humidification of air delivered to the airway during continuous, automatic and bilevel therapy. ResMed humidifiers are used in conjunction with ResMed Flow Generators.

ALWAYS FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

Price Match Guarantee

At CPAP Online, we believe that quality sleep therapy should be both accessible and affordable. That’s why we’ve introduced our Price Match Guarantee Policy – so you’re always getting the best deal possible, without compromising on care and support.

Our Price Match Guarantee applies only to accredited Australian CPAP providers. We do not match offers from overseas companies, and here’s why:

  • Warranty Protection – ResMed Australia and other local suppliers honour warranties purchased through accredited Australian businesses (up to 5 years). Overseas purchases typically only include a shorter warranty, often just 2 years, and may not be valid in Australia.
  • Shipping Costs – Warranty claims with overseas suppliers usually require sending the unit back internationally, which can cost up to $150 each way.
  • Network Compatibility – Overseas CPAP machines often have built-in modems that are not compatible with Australian networks, meaning connectivity features and apps will not work here.
  • Customs & Duties – Importing from overseas can attract additional customs and duty charges (typically around $150), payable each time the unit is shipped, including for warranty claims.

How It Works

  1. Seen a lower price? Let us know before you buy.
  2. Send us the link to the product on their website, or the original quote, via our contact form.
  3. Once verified, we’ll match our competitor’s price — easy as that.

Do I Need a Prescription for a BiPAP Machine?

Yes. In Australia, BiPAP (bilevel) machines require a valid prescription from a qualified healthcare professional.

Because BiPAP therapy provides more advanced ventilatory support than standard CPAP, it must be prescribed and monitored by a sleep specialist, respiratory physician, or primary healthcare provider.

To comply with clinical best practice and ensure the device is appropriate for your needs, customers must upload a valid prescription when purchasing a BiPAP machine.

Our sleep technicians will review your prescription and ensure the device is prepared correctly prior to dispatch.

Machine Setup and Support

If your doctor or specialist has provided specific instructions or therapy recommendations, our team can set up your machine free of charge.

After placing your order, simply upload your prescription through our Contact Page or leave a note at the bottom of the checkout page under 'Notes About my Order'

Please note: We are unable to release a BiPAP/VPAP device without a valid prescription.

Important Safety Information (TGA-Aligned Wording)

  • BiPAP devices are prescription-only medical devices in Australia and must be supplied and used under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
  • This information is general in nature and not a substitute for medical advice. Always follow the treatment plan provided by your doctor or sleep specialist.
  • Do not adjust therapy settings without medical instruction. Incorrect setup may reduce treatment effectiveness or cause discomfort.
  • BiPAP therapy may not be suitable for all patients. Consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns about suitability or underlying health conditions.
  • Providing a valid prescription ensures that your therapy aligns with Australian clinical standards and safety requirements.

Types of CPAP Masks

Full Face Masks
Cover both the nose and mouth, making them ideal for mouth breathers or individuals with nasal congestion. They provide a secure seal and consistent airflow, even at higher pressure settings, ensuring effective therapy. While they offer the most coverage, they can feel bulky and are best suited for back sleepers or those who need maximum support.

Compact Full Face Masks
Are a smaller, lighter alternative to traditional full face masks. They cover the mouth and sit under the nose, reducing bulk and eliminating pressure on the bridge of the nose. This design is perfect for side sleepers or users who want less obtrusion while still benefiting from dual-coverage therapy.

Nasal Cradle Masks
Cradle the base of the nose, delivering effective airflow with minimal facial coverage. This gentle design reduces pressure marks and irritation, making them a great choice for sensitive skin. Lightweight and unobtrusive, they are perfect for side sleepers or users who want a soft, natural fit without anything sitting in or over their nostrils.

Nasal Pillow Masks
Feature small prongs that sit directly in the nostrils, offering precise airflow with minimal facial contact. They are the lightest and most low-profile option, making them ideal for active sleepers or users who feel claustrophobic with larger masks. Their unobstructed design also allows for easy reading or watching TV before bed.

Nasal Masks
Fit snugly over the nose, providing a lightweight and minimal-contact option for nose breathers. They deliver effective airflow for mild to moderate pressure settings and are versatile enough for most sleeping positions. Their unobtrusive design makes them a popular choice for users who prefer a less intrusive mask.
