Price Match Guarantee

At CPAP Online, we believe that quality sleep therapy should be both accessible and affordable. That’s why we’ve introduced our Price Match Guarantee Policy – so you’re always getting the best deal possible, without compromising on care and support.

Our Price Match Guarantee applies only to accredited Australian CPAP providers. We do not match offers from overseas companies, and here’s why:

  • Warranty Protection – ResMed Australia and other local suppliers honour warranties purchased through accredited Australian businesses (up to 5 years). Overseas purchases typically only include a shorter warranty, often just 2 years, and may not be valid in Australia.
  • Shipping Costs – Warranty claims with overseas suppliers usually require sending the unit back internationally, which can cost up to $150 each way.
  • Network Compatibility – Overseas CPAP machines often have built-in modems that are not compatible with Australian networks, meaning connectivity features and apps will not work here.
  • Customs & Duties – Importing from overseas can attract additional customs and duty charges (typically around $150), payable each time the unit is shipped, including for warranty claims.

How It Works

  1. Seen a lower price? Let us know before you buy.
  2. Send us the link to the product on their website, or the original quote, via our contact form.
  3. Once verified, we’ll match our competitor’s price — easy as that.

Do I Need a Prescription?

In Australia, you are not legally required to have a prescription to purchase a CPAP machine.

However, it is strongly recommended that you discuss your sleep apnoea treatment with your primary healthcare provider or sleep specialist.

To ensure we can help you achieve the most effective and safe therapy, we encourage customers to upload their prescription and/or recent sleep study results when placing an order. This allows our trained sleep technicians to provide more accurate guidance and assist with appropriate machine setup. However this is not mandatory.

Machine Setup and Therapy Support

If your doctor or specialist has supplied specific pressure settings or clinical recommendations, our sleep technicians can configure your device free of charge.

Simply place your order and leave a note at the bottom of the checkout page under 'Notes About my Order' or send your prescription or sleep study report through our Contact Page.

If you do not have prescribed settings, most modern Auto-Adjusting Positive Airway Pressure (APAP) machines use advanced algorithms to automatically adjust pressure on a breath-by-breath basis, delivering effective therapy without requiring manually set fixed pressures.

Important Notes & Safety Information

  • CPAP and APAP devices are medical devices. Always use them in accordance with advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
  • This information is not a substitute for medical advice. Please consult your doctor if you have concerns about symptoms, treatment suitability, or therapy settings.
  • CPAP therapy may not be suitable for all patients, particularly those with certain respiratory, cardiac, or neurological conditions. Seek medical advice if unsure.
  • By uploading your prescription or sleep study report, you help our technicians ensure your therapy setup aligns with Australian clinical best practice.

Types of CPAP Masks

Full Face Masks
Cover both the nose and mouth, making them ideal for mouth breathers or individuals with nasal congestion. They provide a secure seal and consistent airflow, even at higher pressure settings, ensuring effective therapy. While they offer the most coverage, they can feel bulky and are best suited for back sleepers or those who need maximum support.

Compact Full Face Masks
Are a smaller, lighter alternative to traditional full face masks. They cover the mouth and sit under the nose, reducing bulk and eliminating pressure on the bridge of the nose. This design is perfect for side sleepers or users who want less obtrusion while still benefiting from dual-coverage therapy.

Nasal Cradle Masks
Cradle the base of the nose, delivering effective airflow with minimal facial coverage. This gentle design reduces pressure marks and irritation, making them a great choice for sensitive skin. Lightweight and unobtrusive, they are perfect for side sleepers or users who want a soft, natural fit without anything sitting in or over their nostrils.

Nasal Pillow Masks
Feature small prongs that sit directly in the nostrils, offering precise airflow with minimal facial contact. They are the lightest and most low-profile option, making them ideal for active sleepers or users who feel claustrophobic with larger masks. Their unobstructed design also allows for easy reading or watching TV before bed.

Nasal Masks
Fit snugly over the nose, providing a lightweight and minimal-contact option for nose breathers. They deliver effective airflow for mild to moderate pressure settings and are versatile enough for most sleeping positions. Their unobtrusive design makes them a popular choice for users who prefer a less intrusive mask.

FAQ

In Australia, CPAP machines are available without a prescription. However, we always recommend consulting your doctor or sleep specialist to determine the right pressure settings for your needs.

The 20A Pro works with any standard CPAP mask (full face, nasal, or nasal pillow) with 15 mm or 19 mm tubing connections. Masks are sold separately.

The Heyer 20A Pro is designed to run quietly so it won't disturb you or your partner. For exact decibel ratings, check the user manual or contact us directly.

Yes. It's compact and lightweight with a carry bag included. The power supply supports 100-240V input, so it works internationally with the right plug adapter.

We recommend rinsing the water chamber daily with warm water and giving it a thorough clean with mild soap once a week. Always use distilled or demineralised water for best results.

Check your filters regularly. As a general guide, disposable filters should be replaced every 2-4 weeks and reusable filters cleaned weekly and replaced every 6 months. Always refer to the user manual for the manufacturer's recommendations.

Yes. The Heyer 20A Pro is backed by a 6-year manufacturer warranty, one of the longest in the CPAP market.
