Price Match Guarantee

At CPAP Online, we believe that quality sleep therapy should be both accessible and affordable. That’s why we’ve introduced our Price Match Guarantee Policy – so you’re always getting the best deal possible, without compromising on care and support.

Our Price Match Guarantee applies only to accredited Australian CPAP providers. We do not match offers from overseas companies, and here’s why:

  • Warranty Protection – ResMed Australia and other local suppliers honour warranties purchased through accredited Australian businesses (up to 5 years). Overseas purchases typically only include a shorter warranty, often just 2 years, and may not be valid in Australia.
  • Shipping Costs – Warranty claims with overseas suppliers usually require sending the unit back internationally, which can cost up to $150 each way.
  • Network Compatibility – Overseas CPAP machines often have built-in modems that are not compatible with Australian networks, meaning connectivity features and apps will not work here.
  • Customs & Duties – Importing from overseas can attract additional customs and duty charges (typically around $150), payable each time the unit is shipped, including for warranty claims.

How It Works

  1. Seen a lower price? Let us know before you buy.
  2. Send us the link to the product on their website, or the original quote, via our contact form.
  3. Once verified, we’ll match our competitor’s price — easy as that.

Do I Need a Prescription?

In Australia, you are not legally required to have a prescription to purchase a CPAP machine.

However, it is strongly recommended that you discuss your sleep apnoea treatment with your primary healthcare provider or sleep specialist.

To ensure we can help you achieve the most effective and safe therapy, we encourage customers to upload their prescription and/or recent sleep study results when placing an order. This allows our trained sleep technicians to provide more accurate guidance and assist with appropriate machine setup. However this is not mandatory.

Machine Setup and Therapy Support

If your doctor or specialist has supplied specific pressure settings or clinical recommendations, our sleep technicians can configure your device free of charge.

Simply place your order and leave a note at the bottom of the checkout page under 'Notes About my Order' or send your prescription or sleep study report through our Contact Page.

If you do not have prescribed settings, most modern Auto-Adjusting Positive Airway Pressure (APAP) machines use advanced algorithms to automatically adjust pressure on a breath-by-breath basis, delivering effective therapy without requiring manually set fixed pressures.

Important Notes & Safety Information

  • CPAP and APAP devices are medical devices. Always use them in accordance with advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
  • This information is not a substitute for medical advice. Please consult your doctor if you have concerns about symptoms, treatment suitability, or therapy settings.
  • CPAP therapy may not be suitable for all patients, particularly those with certain respiratory, cardiac, or neurological conditions. Seek medical advice if unsure.
  • By uploading your prescription or sleep study report, you help our technicians ensure your therapy setup aligns with Australian clinical best practice.

Types of CPAP Masks

Full Face Masks
Cover both the nose and mouth, making them ideal for mouth breathers or individuals with nasal congestion. They provide a secure seal and consistent airflow, even at higher pressure settings, ensuring effective therapy. While they offer the most coverage, they can feel bulky and are best suited for back sleepers or those who need maximum support.

Compact Full Face Masks
Are a smaller, lighter alternative to traditional full face masks. They cover the mouth and sit under the nose, reducing bulk and eliminating pressure on the bridge of the nose. This design is perfect for side sleepers or users who want less obtrusion while still benefiting from dual-coverage therapy.

Nasal Cradle Masks
Cradle the base of the nose, delivering effective airflow with minimal facial coverage. This gentle design reduces pressure marks and irritation, making them a great choice for sensitive skin. Lightweight and unobtrusive, they are perfect for side sleepers or users who want a soft, natural fit without anything sitting in or over their nostrils.

Nasal Pillow Masks
Feature small prongs that sit directly in the nostrils, offering precise airflow with minimal facial contact. They are the lightest and most low-profile option, making them ideal for active sleepers or users who feel claustrophobic with larger masks. Their unobstructed design also allows for easy reading or watching TV before bed.

Nasal Masks
Fit snugly over the nose, providing a lightweight and minimal-contact option for nose breathers. They deliver effective airflow for mild to moderate pressure settings and are versatile enough for most sleeping positions. Their unobtrusive design makes them a popular choice for users who prefer a less intrusive mask.

Product Features

Advanced Clinical Insights

Advanced Clinical Insights

The ResMed AirSense™ Elite has a lot of features, but the most advanced clinical insights are what make it so unique. The machine can detect evidence of central sleep apnea and Cheyne-Stokes respiration to ensure that you are receiving appropriate treatment.

Enhanced Climate Control Auto

Enhanced Climate Control Auto

The enhanced climate control auto function in the ResMed AirSense™ Elite machine is designed to give you and your partner a more comfortable sleep experience. The climate control system automatically adjusts the amount of cool, heated or dry air that flows into the mask as needed based on what it senses inside your mouth.

Expiratory Pressure Relief

Expiratory Pressure Relief

The Expiratory Pressure Relief feature in the elite is the latest addition to the ResMed line. This feature increases comfort by decreasing pressure on exhalation, which can reduce nasal congestion and dry mouth caused from CPAP therapy. The AirSense™ Elite’s Expiratory Pressure Relief is a new feature that decreases airway pressure during exhale in order to provide more comfort for patients with milder sleep apnoea.

SmartStart

SmartStart

A ResMed device with the SmartStart™ setting: this allows you to start CPAP therapy using inhalation as a trigger instead of pressing the ‘start’ button. This helps adjust to wearing your mask before starting. SmartStart is one of ResMed’s best features because it can make CPAP therapy more comfortable for people who are new to this treatment for sleep apnea. These patients get used to breathing through their airway and find that they feel sleepy with less oxygen deprivation.

Sleep Scheduling

Sleep Scheduling

The ResMed AirSense Elite can be set up with a sleep schedule so you know when it’s time to go to bed and wake up in order best get quality restorative sleep. You might want this if your work or lifestyle makes it difficult for you to fall asleep on your own at night without some help from a CPAP machine. A pre-sleep ritual such as taking deep breaths before bed have been shown reduce stress levels by lowering heart rate and blood pressure; even just watching TV is enough relax the mind if that’s what works.

Built-in Ambient Light Sensor

Built-in Ambient Light Sensor

So if patients need to get up during the night, the screen’s back light won’t disrupt their bed partner. The ResMed AirSense™ Elite Fixed Pressure CPAP Machine can help you get the right treatment at the right pressure to fall asleep and stay asleep all night long, so that you wake up refreshed. T&Cs Apply

This machine is designed for patients who require fixed-pressure therapy with an integrated humidifier, as well as those looking for intuitive operation without complicated menus or settings to navigate. It features no complicated menu options or adjustments making it perfect for starting sleep apnea treatment with ease!

AutoRamp with sleep onset detection

The ResMed AirSense™ Elite Fixed Pressure Machine’s AutoRamp feature will automatically adjust the pressure setting during sleep time based on the user’s breathing pattern. The machine is set to start at a low starting pressure and gradually increase in increments as needed by the individual throughout their sleep cycle. This is one of ResMed’s most popular features because it can be helpful for people who experience discomfort with sudden changes between high and low pressures.

AutoRamp also works well when there are two users sleeping in bed, or if someone sleeps more deeply than another person, since its gradual rise in pressure won’t wake up the lighter sleeper waiting for their turn to have a restful night of sleep!

ResMed AirSense™ 10 Advanced HumidAir technology helps to eliminate dry, irritating night-time breathing with a heated water chamber that releases moisture into the air. By adding humidity to your sleep environment, you can reduce nighttime symptoms like coughing or throat irritation and enjoy a more restful sleep throughout the night! It is able to be heated by an external water chamber for all year round use!

The ResMed AirSense™ Elite has a built-in sound liner that blocks out noise from the environment without distorting your sleep therapy.
