The DreamStation Cellular Modem is designed for use with select Philips Respironics DreamStation therapy devices. Once installed, it automatically transfers data between the therapy device and Philips Respironics proprietary compliance software. If available on your model, the modem is able to receive oximetry data and transfer it to the therapy device.

  • Warranty Protection – ResMed Australia and other local suppliers honour warranties purchased through accredited Australian businesses (up to 5 years). Overseas purchases typically only include a shorter warranty, often just 2 years, and may not be valid in Australia.
  • Shipping Costs – Warranty claims with overseas suppliers usually require sending the unit back internationally, which can cost up to $150 each way.
  • Network Compatibility – Overseas CPAP machines often have built-in modems that are not compatible with Australian networks, meaning connectivity features and apps will not work here.
  • Customs & Duties – Importing from overseas can attract additional customs and duty charges (typically around $150), payable each time the unit is shipped, including for warranty claims.
